The oeuvre of Slovak artist Petra Feriancová moves within the framework of post-production. She does not perceive herself as an artist who would create something new but an artist who merely reflects upon the real. Her photographs capture reality in a way bordering on fiction. The works featuring landscapes are abandoned and as if taken from the films by Andrei Tarkovsky. In Vienna, Feriancová also exhibits, for example, projections in which she features everyday as well as intimate memories in the form of diary records. “Petra F” Siemens art_Lab, Vienna 28 August – 25 September 2008
