International Triennale of Contemporary Art 2008 | Prague - Veletrzni palace, National Gallery Prague | 03/06 - 14/09/08
The Triennale in the National Gallery in Prague The International Triennale of Contemporary Art in the National Gallery follows up on the previous events of the same name. It was first held in 2005 when it separated from a similar event called Prague Biennale and was initially organized in the collaboration with the Flash Art magazine. The aim of the present exhibition is to map out new expressions of contemporary art which markedly differ from all those that have hitherto been preferred on the local artistic scene. The main curator of the Triennale, Tomáš Vlček, collaborated with numerous other curators from many countries on organizing the event, and their shared effort resulted in the total of 18 curatorial sections and moreover two separate projects entitled “Mobility” and “Motion as a Message”. We will bring you the review of the Triennial in the forthcoming days. International Triennale of Contemporary Art 2008 Fair Trade Palace, the National Gallery in Prague 3 June – 14 September 2008
