An exhibition titled Intimate Message presents four young authors pursuing figural painting. In their work Aleš Brázdil, Jakub Hubálek, Jan Mikulka and Jakub Janovský follow the figurative tradition of art painting in various ways. While Mikulka is inspired mainly by more classic premodern painting and his works are formed by photorealism, Hubálek and Brázdil offer a more stylized realistic version of painting influenced by the postmodern period. Jakub Janovský who combines sprays and chemical colors in his works, is already far from the classic concept of a figure.
The exhibition will offer a broad spectrum of topics – from personal existential stories, subjective compositions to quotes of historical painting.
