Tillman Kaiser: Proposal for an Altar

Austrian artist Tillman Kaiser is inspired in his work by the legacy of modern style which he combines with younger pop-cultural symbols and phenomenons. Apart from paintings his exhibition in the Polansky Gallery will also present objects and sculptures by which Kaiser broadens the borders of photography. His works show the pioneering period of photography. In them we can find sketchy visual memories of Wedgwood and Niépce but also Man Ray or photograms by Christian Schad.
