The work of Jan Křížek (1919 – 1985), an artist who lived in Paris from 1947 till his death, is not known that much to the Czech audience. At the Waldstein Riding School you can see a comprehensive exhibition of this author, who although a sculptor by nature, also created a lot of paintings and graphic works. The goal of the exhibition is to classify this significant, yet forgotten artist in the context of leading personalities of art brut (outsider art) and Tachisme and to such great artists as Pablo Picasso, Jean Dubuffet and René Duvillier.
