ART PRAGUE - 1th edition of contemporary art fair

ART PRAGUE is now in its second decade. Back in 2002 when founding ART PRAGUE we wished to create a new tradition and now, after 10 years we feel positive that we have.
The benefits of a regular exhibition of contemporary art are now quite evident. Previous years' success have demonstrated the viability of such events, where the visitor can see original works by nearly 250 artists, in one place over a short period of time. Some 30 galleries from Czech Republic, Germany, France, Taiwan and the Netherlands are offering works from almost all art disciplines. The exhibition is attended by some 5000 visitors, and because of this, a new category of young art collectors has been emerging.
ART PRAGUE is listed among other international art fairs and its concept has been constantly developing over the years. Besides traditional presentations by galleries, there are also curator projects with a variety of topics - social themed work, contemporary sculpture, large scale paintings and street art - are all placed on a boat track between Prague and Hamburg (Cargo Gallery).
The aim of ART PRAGUE is to present quality contemporary art on a large scale and also to search for new and attractive ways of presentation. We would like to thank to the City of Prague for its long and continuing support as well as to our general partner UniCredit Bank ČR, a.s.
